GTD

Last week, I’ve been doing a lot of work for the GTD Branding project. Where we have been hired to help two major companies in Ecuador brand their new company. Tesalia and Delisoda are the two biggest beverage brands in Ecuador, and they’re coming together with 3 other companies to form GTD. I haven’t done much with branding so it was really interesting to see how they decided to break it down. Lots of sketching, and re-working logos it was pretty intense. For this project, we had to hire another free-lancer who specialized in branding, so I got the lucky job of looking through all the resumes and responses from our craigslist ad. It is definitely an experience going through other designers resumes and portfolios. It definitely helps put things into perspective on how to really approach applying for a job, and possibly how someone on the receiving side is judging your work.

On a follow up note, Indika couldn’t afford to take my offer. Unfortunately I won’t be working here after my internship, but they made sure that I knew it wasn’t because of my work performance. So I suppose that’s good to know.
