Stop! It’s Cairo Time.

Last week, I spent a majority of my time creating the “Black and White” compositions for “Cairo Time” in order to help speed up the process. That’s pretty much what I spent my whole week doing, and managed to finish 9 Comps. We also spent time trying to think of some copy for the poster, and James mentioned that usually Art Directors are really good at thinking of copy. I’m not sure if this is a common trend, or just talking from speculation. For some odd reason, when I think of “Cairo Time” I can only think of MC Hammers – “Hammer Time”. Therefore, making this process tricky for me, but on an all serious note I’m really appreciating how my supervisors are giving me work to help develop me into a better designer. It seems like they have a bigger picture idea for what level they want me to be at before the end of this internship.

Here are the compositions I worked on, they’re just the composite so of course they look really roughed out.
